Brave the Dark (2023)
When high school teacher Stan Deen discovers that his student, Nate, has been living out of his car and has been incarcerated, he takes it upon himself to bail him out. Determined to curb Nate’s self-destructive behavior, Deen uncovers a series of dark secrets that are slowly tearing Nate apart. What begins as a compassionate act transforms into a desperate struggle to save Nate from his own inner demons. As Nate spirals deeper into despair, Deen must confront the extent to which he is willing to go to rescue a young man on the brink.
